Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Absolutely breathtaking scenery, looking over horse pastures and old Florida countryside. The cottage was larger than expected and should be called a house, not a suite. Loved the back porch and fenced yard perfect for the dogs.

Negative: The laminate flooring on the first floor was loud with dog nails clicking loudly. But I see why it was used since it is easy to sweep and clean. Back fencing needs maintenance and small dogs can escape. We had four people staying, but there were only 3 coffee mugs. Also, there were no large bowls. We needed one for a salad, so we had to use a cooking pot!

Summary: Grand Oaks is an old Florida gem and equestrian paradise.
