PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL WITH CONSIDERATE BOATING PRACTICES! The cove is a no wake zone. SLOW. Boaters should, whether they "see" swimmers or not, maintain a no wake zone within the cove. Pulling riders on blow up rafts from the shoreline at high speeds is not acceptable, jet skis flying in and out of the dock repetitively is not considerate to full time residents. This dock and premises is shared with 8 other families.

We love the #lakelife around here as well as the breath-taking mountains. So much to do and see right in town. The convenience of a marina, restaurants, movie theater and recreation center make getting away and slowing down in your own way especially easy. We have a handy Welcome guidebook in the house full of dining options, things to do, shopping, hiking, biking and waterfall trails. If it is wineries you like, they are all around! Young Harris college boasts college sporting events and tennis. The Bavarian based town of Helen is a short 25 min drive for tubing or zip lining.
There are several excellent boat rental places in the area! We use Lake Chatuge Marine, Young Harris Water Sports, Boundary Waters... The staff is amazing and they will find the perfect fit for you whether it is a boat, jet skis, stand up paddle boards, or kayaks.
Hike or drive to the apex of Bell Mountain, which overlooks the lake below and provides picturesque mountain views. Visit Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia. Hike the trailheads of the Appalachian Trail, which span from Georgia to Maine, are less than 10 miles from this home.
